Diverse product portfolio of starch and dextrin

White Dextrin
These days, numerous manufacturers are manufacturing various products like dextrin, maize starch, corn flour and lots more with high quality. Basically all these products are categorized under various industries like foundry chemicals, food and pharmaceutical industry and more. Yellow Dextrin is soluble gummy carbohydrate made from partial hydrolysis of starch. White dextrin is partially soluble and has high viscosity. Manufacturing of adhesives, dyes and paper coating uses White dextrin. White dextrin is also used in the fire cracker industries and office paste. The adhesive powder has excellent adhesion properties.

Manufacturing of dyes, adhesives, paper coatings and foundries uses yellow dextrin powder. Kardex-glue adhesive preparation is quicker which helps in reducing labor and electric cost.. That’s why it is very much in use while cooking and it has a good fuel efficient feature. Yellow dextrin powder is made by roasting starch with less acid and more heat.

White Dextrins are produced at very low down temperatures and with short reaction times in the presence of suitable concentrations of catalyst. Variety of catalyst can be used by depending upon the exact property desired. Dexteins are the mixtures of low to high molecular weight linear and brached carbohydrate molecules. Dextrins are widely used as water soluble adhesives as thickening agents and as binding agents. White Dextrins gives excellent saturation in yarn. It works as an adhesive in office paste, Label gum and Bottle gum. It is suitable for numerous applications such as in Dyes, Fireworks and Foundries & Printing ink.

Maize Starch is a cereal starch, having properties such as low ash and protein content. It easily converts itself into smooth paste. The foaming is usually associated with high pH. It is not necessary to add any antifoaming agent because pH of Maize Starch is always maintained in neutral series. Starch is easily dispersed in hydrophilic media when product is immersed in it. Maize starch is used in numerous industries like Pharmaceutical, Textile, Food, Paper and Packaging industry. In each industry maize starch plays a vital role. In food industry maize starch is used for thickening sauces, gravies, puddings and pie fillings. In Pharmaceutical industry, maize starch works as a dusting media for various types of coating as well as binder & stuffing for capsules & tables. To add weight and stiffness to cloths, textile industry uses Maize starch. Starch is also used in combination with thermoplastic or thermosetting resins to get a permanent finish.
