Coal varieties of importance; Grade A Coal and Grade C Coal

Coal forms one of the most basic and one of the most widely used form of fossil fuel across the world. The difference in the rank of the coal varieties is also attributed to the different amount of heat and pressure that is applied during the geochemical stage of the coal development. Coal as a fossil fuel is the largest source of energy that is used for the generation of electricity worldwide. The coal is used primarily as a solid fuel to produce electricity and heat through combustion.
