Process house equipments are of various types and they can be very distinct to certain type of industries and so cannot be generalized. Jakketed kettles and autoclaves are some such devices that have specific uses in industries and the rest of the equipments can be used by any industry that uses steam for heating. Juice heaters, vacuum pans, crystallizers and evaporators have varied designs that make them functional. Juice heaters have tubular designs with a wide pitch, vacuum pans have features like automatic and manual circulation, fast boiling and so on. In the range of crystallizers, horizontal and vertical crystallizers are available.

The rotary kiln comprises of the refractory lining, shell, rollers, support tyres, internal heat exchangers and drive gears. The kiln functions in a typical manner by rotating on its axis and through it hot gases are allowed to pass and further the process of heating the materials.
